Our partners know that meaningful interactions between seniors and the newest generation creates magic. The generous contributions of our partners enables Babies Who Volunteer to not only achieve our mission, but to realize our vision of bringing smiles to as many seniors as possible in our community.
The CHEO Foundation
The Intergenerational programming of Babies Who Volunteer directly supports the healthy growth and development of babies through socialization with other babies and the seniors who shower them with love, attention and affection. Seniors benefit from all the cuddles, giggles and special moments they share with our newest generation of volunteers.
The healthy development of the children in our community is central to CHEO’s mission. Generations of parents and grandparents have long supported CHEO, working alongside doctors and caregivers to raise healthy, happy children and helping them be the best they can be. Supporting Babies Who Volunteer is a very special way for CHEO to thank seniors for their lifetime of love and support to the children of our community.
The Ottawa Community Foundation
The work of Babies Who Volunteer is funded in part by a grant from the Ottawa Community Foundation. The Ottawa Community Foundation is a public, non-profit organization created by and for the people of Ottawa. It connects donors who care with causes that matter and serves as a trusted resource for addressing issues and leveraging opportunities in the community. Grants from the Ottawa Community Foundation are made possible by generous donors who have contributed funds to support local projects and initiatives.
The funding provided by the Ottawa Community Foundation is being used to further develop our organizational structure, and to expand our programming to include school-aged children and special activities that they can do with seniors.
